I Searched and Never Found You

——until upon a day we found ourselves together.

Thus, I can not lose you. Nor, will we ever lose ourselves.

You were always there to be here, as God unites all in His Creation, just as It is, by Creation!

And there’s no way to project what is forever for all, to all. As an extension of love It is never yielding to the meddling madness of our minds.

We await only our return to the Power, so freely given, yet Ignored in my ignorance. This Power’s protection is my effort not to block it. But extended, It fully encompasses the whole journey of my everlasting love. It goes nowhere and has no opposition. just requiring my stillness in the Heart of God.

Let us be holy together, just as we are. We need change not one thing. For His Will is done in this One heavenly joining, a thing too that has never not been, nor will ever not be.

Tugging, pulling, pushing, prying, pausing, protecting, parrying — thinking these need be, as I steal from time that never is — these being only the shaky ground in which I’ll fall to old ideas of the “love” I have learned so wrongly to fear, not It, but my making of It. And now I’d rather learn each day to think otherwise.

Love needs not my guidance.

It does need my acceptance.

I cannot give what I deny I have. Lovely, it’s my time to deny this denial: For we, you and I, have all.”

I am here to hear, and heed Love’s clarion call, by moving away from what that call is not.

It’s time to wash my hands and keep them away from my face. Maybe where a mask.

Being Alone Or Not

Our minds share all the power there is in the universe.  When we think, and we do all the time, we share.  That is the power of mind we usually know nothing of.  The Power of mind is always with us, never lets us be, and being created for us, from one Source, we cannot leave it.  This is because we are truly an idea in our Source’s mind, have never left It, and never will.  A nice way to express this is in the world’s terms, is to call this Source, Our Father, or Mother.  Some say God, Creator, Supreme Being.  There are many more Names we have.  They are all the same and none really identify this Power, other than by some form of internal direction. We seem to know we live in this world with a Loveing Father, or Mother, as we choose to think.  We can think otherwise, but not without suffering.

We are children of Love.  We are children of chaos when this is not true for us.  Such is the Great Power’s all encompassing force in our lives.

We  come here to search for our Source, although that is disguised in other forms, mostly mistaken for how we think of this Power, or insist on not thinking of such a power in our lives.   We are the only species on earth that searches for its source or their parent in the world’s terms.  All we do here is all about this one thing, finding this Source,

Yet our Source has never left us, but believe we left It. That does not on the surface seem too much of a problem because for many of us, we set out on our own insisting we are after all autonomous.  Our loving Parent has been hidden from us by our own making, as are our problems.  As we plunder the very land we make and the other beings with whom we reside here, our brothers and sisters.  In one thought.  Important is we cannot do anything that would change the Mind of Our Parent, wherein we, our seemingly separate minds reside, still as One,  just as its has always been, is now and forever will be.

You are free to think as you wish, or think of the thought of destruction that appears before us.  Or the loving world that stands just behind what we think we see.

Which thought will be real for us? We are  not alone in our minds, seeming to be made so tiny by our own opinion. Yet every thought will be either a connection or a dis-connection.  A loneliness or a connectedness.  Love or hate.  Heaven or hell.  God is or God isn’t.  We cannot serve two masters.

Thought is powerful.  And while we can choose as we wish,  for the thought we want, or what we appear to not want.  We “see” error and make it a “real” thought.  We can do what we wish with that power, but we all need to find the thought withnin us that clearly and inevitably tells us, we can’t leave. And believe it to be Truth; or deny it followed by the pain we make of our thinking.  We are never alone.  Yet, given the real power of our minds, If we think we are, we are.

God never leaves God’s children.  Chaos or not.  God is Love, a thought we’ve heard what seems like forever now.  We need to listen to this thought today.  This is a call for love by a Parent who knows nothing else, and will never allow us to go on thinking there’s something else.

We need to listen to this call and stop being the angry children of chaos.  We are in truth, the loving children of God.  We never leave our Source, because a Loving Parent never leaves Its children.   Thoughts are powerful because they originate where the Answer is placed, in God’s Mind.

Let us think today, we are never alone.  The instruction manual will follow!

Forgivness – Walking the Path to Conscious Contact With God as we Understand God — A Three Day Workshop

This website is a work in progress at the moment.  We are hoping you will find it helpful in deciding if you want to join us in the workshop, on line or in person, beinginning in the Fall of 2020.  Bob Pajer, BA in Psychology, National Institure of Public Affairs,

Fellow,  Ford Foundation Fellow, Fellow, Graduate School of Public Affairs, University of Washing, and Ann Marie Stanley, BA and Lecturer

Are you puzzled by thoughts of new or repeated thoughts of resentment or un-forgiveness. Do you wonder why it’s seems so difficult to get over the anger toward someone, a stranger or someone you are really close to?  Have you ever wondered just why to can’t stay in the moment, where you could see happiness; why the past seems so enticing, anger seems so justified at the moment, why the future is at times so bleak?

The reason for these problems for us is we are jusitifying our past to frame a future of the unknown that came seem quite scarry.  And if you just might be doing this right in the middle of your sobriety, or perhaps even a meeting you find it almost impossible to stop.  Like drinking, an important way.  Why do we ever rob ourselves of peace now buy fantizing about a past?  To make us dred the futhre, which is the ego’s major goal.  and believe me it knows exactly how to do this, pitifally, cunningly, and masterfully — but only if we let it.  Justifying one ownce of anger, turning to a resentment, robs us off all serenity.  Those in recover cannot stay there with on-going resentments, or un-forgiving thoughts.  It is why the Big Book tells us clearly, resentments are the number one issue of alcoholics in sobriety.  And it is in sobriety we take the first drink.

Do you wonder why forgivness seems to not work at times — after you have forgiven what you think is the problem with a person, institution or situation?  Do you think forgiveness doesn’t “work?”  Or, is there hope in the Steps to lead you straight on to their major acccomplishment in us:  forgiveness of our dark past in God’s hands.  As Jesus says in response to his disciples regarding this quesiton:  “Forgive seven times seventy.”  What does he mean?

This is a workshop for members of Alcholics Anonymous, practicing or beginning the practice of the Twelve Steps of recovery.  Its goal is learning how to achieve “conscious contact with the God” through the God of our understanding.  While the goal will put a smile on your face, a quickend gate in your walk, eyes that twinkle with joy — the goal of this workshop is clearly to demonstrate these natural affects of the Steps — you will see very clearly the primary goal will be to “bear witness to God’s love, and way of live.” Something we all share in recovery and find all we can do with these great gifts is to give them away.  When you finally learn how to give over and over you will find love and the conscious contact and understanding of God you are seeking.

A Loving Thought No. 10

Father, let me fix my eyes now on my desire to turn my eyes from all appearances before me here. Let there be no false god there to tempt me to turn away from not one moment in which I can see even the dark shadows of the un-past, the tiniest mistake of even a tiny mad moment denying me the opportunity to decide for truth once again. I behold the ugly, the hate, the mean spirit, the mask, the confusion, the severance—the legion of all that carry the heavy yoke of the untrue, so that I may see the Light in the darkening of Truth in my brother, as it is in me.

Truth is True

By Bob Pajer, based on an interpretation of Jesus’ words and my notes from A Course in Miracles

Truth is true.

Let it shine on me, through me, and to you.

I teach release and gladness. Or, I will teach sorrow and despair. Neither accepts a partial attempt. I need to be glad that we have been asked to teach the first, for that is what I will learn for myself. Should I decide to teach the other, that is what I will surely learn—of course to watch truth come again. For is truth relentless, and inevitable. It will never leave me in the darkness of my mistakes. We are blessed, as we bless.

Learn to be a happy learner—a really happy one. Who loves a sad teacher?

Be not content with nothing. You have all from All. Grab it and cling to it. It is your inheritance. You can find it unacceptable, but you cannot change it.

Truth is true. Its all there is. For it holds the key — light. The light has come. Don’t darken it with guilt, unless you wish to play God again, trying to convince all the Power there is that It is not salvation, but guilt is.

No form of human suffering fails to belie a guilty thought. That is because a guilty thought is an attack on God, and further separation. And when we try to attack God, or one of God’s children, the same mistake, we affirm our insanity, which is we think we separated from God—the impossible. For that one thought we invite our own suffering. Not liking suffering very much, we will blame someone, or blame ourselves. A vicious cycle dearly loved by the ego.

I am the decision maker in my time here in this world I made. The decision for guiltlessness is mine, as is the deciding for guilt. When I decide for guiltlessness, it is mine. Once mine, I must give it away to keep it.

The value of all this I just said is my restoration to sanity — learning to teach only God’s lessons here in this world, now. God teaches us. All things are lessons He/She would have us learn. Not to worry about things I don’t understand. More will be revealed, as I decide to let in what i already know to be true.

Let me bring peace. As a matter of fact it is why I’m here. Actually, the only reason I’m here. If I think this is not so, I am out of alignment with the Will if God.

I’m deciding something in every second in time, including time itself. It is my power to do so. “God, the world was a poor decision, as You know. “Don’t worry, “ God says, “That mistake and all mistaken decisions are corrected the instant they are made—for everyone involved, by Truth. My Will. My Voice. My Love.”

When I attack a brother or sister I will instantly believe attack on me is inevitable. This is the ego’s law, coming from it’s laws if chaos. Truth will not allow attack in any form whatsoever. Peace will always abide in God’s law, the only law there is.

When I judge someone, condemning myself or another for what appears to be right or wrong, I usurp God’s authority, God’s authorship of creation. Or, mistakenly try. God does judge. But only as follows: “Behold my Children, in whom I am well pleased. You are as I created you.” Unless we believe this, now, we will continue to search, until we learn there us no search where upon we will find what we are looking for, as we look on our own, without God.

“Father, I am here only to be truly, helpful. How do You want me to see this situation, accepting what I am, Love!?”

Replace darkness with light. You can. Just ask “What is Your will for me, Father.” You will recognize your will.

Darkness has no power, other than in your perception, which retains the power of choice until we are able to see. See there is no choice, for love excludes all choices. And God is love.

As you grow in Holy Perception, and you will, it will become more and more, impossible to see or dream of darkness.

Guiltnessness forms my invulnerability, beyond form.

God is the only Cause.

The causeless cannot be. When I fully learn this one thing I will know everything, for knowledge is true.

Deny what is causeless. That’s a worthy use of something I have well practiced, denial.

I cannot make decisions on my own. Whatever I decide I decide for every one. Every decision you make is for the Sonship.

Guilt is not a virtue. Nor is shame, which is a form of guilt, which is fear. Don’t listen to your ego on this subject, nor on anything for that matter.

If you seek love outside yourself you can be certain you are perceiving hatred within, and are afraid of it. My dear brother/sister, there is nothing out there. We are in here together in union with Our Father.

Beyond Seeing – A Psalm

I seem to know. Yet I don’t. Knowledge is protected from my egoistic mind. I think sometimes when I feel like I’m on top of things I make up, I’m surely not. When I see myself in poverty, however, I am likely to welcome Truth. My heart soars at the idea my having is my very being, always in Your Heart, Father: The Kingdom, now. My life is only sad and unmanageable when I believe stuff I made up without You, Father. I have made a world of sin and guilt. You, dear Father have created a Heaven where I’m forever welcome. It’s not a place I think I can play my ego’s games and prove to my self, that at its hand I die, not a place I can play the game of deprivation: sickness, attack and littleness, determined to prove at least one thing: that I see. I Imagine, I think I actually know through the seeing of eyes that don’t see. Knowledge cannot be in the hands of a life that thinks it sees with eyes that cannot see; ears that cannot hear. My solution to this is always to sacrifice Life. I will willingly die for one sacrifice. Death, dear Father. This is not your will! You will only that Your Son live, as You created me. Quiet my mind, Father that I may hear your calling—Your ancient song you sing to me with every breath I take and every encounter I have with a brother or sister. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done. Let this song be my aria to all my my brothers and sisters here. We know not what we say, yet I do know this one thing: When I listen I can hear beyond our voices, we sing the greatest melody we cannot help but sing here and in heaven: we are One, in unity with our Holy Father. Amen.

Book Review: Stations of the Cosmic Christ, by Matthew Fox and Bishop Mark Andrus. Review by Bob Pajer

Mathew Fox is surely one of the greater thinkers in our times.  His ideas are forward, bold, fearless, searching and inspiring.  “Stations of the Cosmic Christ” by Fox and Bishop Marc Andrus won’t disappointment in any of these lofty achievements, nor Joanna Macy’s cover comment on the book, “…It celebrates the sacred at the heart of the universe.”

There is no universal theology, but there is a universal experience Jesus tells us in A Course in Miracles.  I’m sure “Stations of the Cosmic Christ” demonstrates this message from Jesus.  Christ is in us, all of us.  No matter what our eyes or ears seem to tell us.  Trapped in an ego mind, however, which is what the made up world is, is aimed at the maintaining of the bondage of self.  We really have no chance of making the world a better place by hoping that somehow we’ll finally get it right doing the same things over and over again, after which God in cosmic love demonstrates again and again: man has no will or mind, or anything really, separate from its Source, God if you will.  We are one and only as One do we awaken to the connection we have in Great Unity with God.  Christ is the path to this, and the only path, albeit under other names.  Jesus came to tell us and demonstrate this one truth, ever reminding us there’s no way to God except through Christ, our true identity.  His message also tells us this practically achieved by us the oneness of the forgiving thought, upon letting go of all un-forgiving thouths.

One of the adventures of Fox’s book is that we are invited to believe in the Oneness of the Spirit in us, Christians call Christ. The name is not what is important, but the function of our lives in relation to it is.  Our brothers and sisters in this place we seem to live all have the same interest and because this is irrevocably true, my interests cannot be seen as more or less than yours.

There is a truly remarkable Martin Luther King quote in “Stations of the Cosmic Christ” which I will carry with me always as a reminder about what is true in this world, often different than what I see:

“Evil may so shape events that Caesar will occupy a palace and Christ a cross, but that same Christ arose and split history into A.D. and B. C., so that even the life of Caesar must be dated by his name.  Yes the arc of the moral  universe is long, but it bends toward justice.  There is something in the universe which justifies William Cullen Bryant in saying, ‘Truth crushed to earth will rise again.’”  p. 98

And a later quote by Buckminster Fuller:  “…The Ascension event is reminding us that the Christ presence is felt in the furthest reaches of the universe.  We are not just dwellers in our little villages on the modest planet; we share in the cosmic events and we carry the Cosmic Christ within us — the very ‘fullness of the one who fills the universe in all its parts.”   p. 144.  Thus the forgiveness Jesus teaches us is a cosmic event.

Enjoy this book.  It is a masterpiece in our readiness for return to the Kingdom and not to dwell on our identity with religions’ negative  interpretation of the crucifixion, but to live the message of promise:  Viewing Jeus’ Resurrection in our lives through Christ.

I received this book free from the author and/or publisher through the Speakeasy blogging book review network. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR,Part 255.

Our Journey Home -“A Journey Without Distance to a Goal That Has Never Changed.” — An Interpretation From A Course in Miracles, by Bob Pajer

We are “chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world” (see Ephesians 1:4).

Cause and effect are one in what Paul says here in this seemingly incredible statement. It hits our dualistic, separately contrived world like a ton of bricks. God’s. As Richard Rohr says, reality is:  subject joins with subject, there is no object.  A heady thought, but true.  Our Cause and effect relationship with God is almost that Cause and effect are the same.

Our world, however, by choice is based on our decision to separate from our Source, and disappear into the dual consciousness of ego, a thought system that grows upon itself like a cancer, splitting off and splitting off again and again. Yet there is nothing unlike our unique unity in God’s Oneness, no such opposite thought system separate from God. Such a thought cannot not exist in The Oneness of God’s Mind where we exist. Such a likeness, in reality, can’t happen. “God is or He isn’t,” as Bill Wilson tells us in his non-dual statement on the exisitence of God, or Power greter than ourselves.  So we think we exist, but actually as separated from God, can’t exist. Our egos do the magic: we believe there is existence apart from God, and in our mind so it seems to be, albeit with one unsurmountable problem: it can only seem to be, it can’t go anywhere, for it is only love that can be extended into reality. And, all ideas, like all thoughts, do not leave their source — coming under the same immutable, changeless laws of God’s, including love for His children, truly extended to be extended eternally. Love does not need to go anywhere to be extended. For Existence has always been and forever will be everywhere. While fear, all that the ego’s source of its own being, for that is what it is, goes nowhere. “Nothing” cannot extend itself, 0+0=0.

However, the Holy Spirit, in Her ceaseless labor of God’s and His perfect love for us reminds us we are trying to think apart from God — a tug, one of thousands upon us, that something isn’t quite right-minded here. And we begin momentarily thinking in truth; yet, for most of us, we turn to defense of the ego and using that defense, think again in fear, apart from God: maybe they’ll be unwanted consequence, pain and suffering, so instead of listening to the Voice of Salvation, we make up a false God to “protect” us, to go with our false self, and live happily ever after in a made up chaotic kingdom full of sin, guilt, death and decay.  Death is always the ego’s ultimate unreality for the ego, bones crumbling into dust. Can this be what God created? Can this be His love for His Son? Deep in everyone here is God’s voice singing a different melody:  one of peace, loviness, connectidness and forgivness.  For-giveness simply meaning we have it all, each and every one of us, surging into a Oneness that can only connect to God.   There is no separation.

Richard Rohr so correctly says, if we had just gone in the other direction, toward “being chosen in Christ (Self) before the foundation of the world.”, which is not the direction Adam took, (nor I ten minutes ago,) where would we be? However, we are exactly where we are supposed to be based on our readiness to return home, Bill Wilson teaches, to help recovering drunks stay planted in the moment, now, for that is the only place, with God, where he/she finds the defense from the next drink — hoping it will never come.

One day at a time.  God is always in the now. However, God is in everything. There are no wrong places to be, just better choices. And we can always be where we want to be, for the love of God. The one power left to us in a dualistic thought system is choice, i.e., decision making. Choosing not to make 10 fighter jets in 10 countries in the world and diverting these savings to joint cancer research would provide enough resources to cure cancer forever. Isn’t cancer then our choice like all suffering in this world?

Alas, again thanks to the Loving Voice for God, the Holy Spirit, we can’t stand the guilt of wrong choices. If you separate from God you will feel guilty and guilt leads to the ego’s direct path to its art of the grievance. While love holds no grievances, we do. Grievances are insane, as is guilt. But, both, we think gives us an out: while judgement, self-righteousness, condemnation are like super glue, binding quickly and securely, there is always the ego’s masterpiece, blame, which is its “proof” there’s something out there to threaten us. Something we make up in our dream of scarcity and depravation, which is the world without forgiveness.  Our egos are contrived to release the bond, while making the bond to delusion and separation evermore secure.  This is one of the egos’s most most artful weapons:  the special relationship.  While God does nothing in special terms, the ego loves specialness and fosters it. While covering its design for self destruction, it deflects our real fear that God will find us and punish us once and for all for, actually, into what we did not do, separate with “loving” overtones.  Unfortnately, thes overtones cover special hate for the person we think we can love without God’s input, no thank you.

Which is of course what Adam did, here is where he blames his lovely wife, (the beginning of couples therapy.) We can in fact teach only one thing in this world. It is not knowledge, however, for that is of God and we have made the choice of not being “of God” — impossible but thinkable. We can only teach Love, or at least reoving the many blocks to love we love. If  we think of teaching being communication, which it clearly must be, we can teach each other by simple means:  forgiveness:  seeing in the other person, thus in ourselves, only what the other person can only be:  a perfect, holy child of God.  Since we cannot change God’s creaton, which is what this is, we are in effect than accepting the only thing necessary for salvation:  God’s love for us.   Although it must be just as Jesus taught us, through the reflection of love, forgiveness. Forgivness is our only way to God. There is no lother way.  And it must be done here on earht.  It is interesting it is in the final analysis, through the Christ in one another we reach our home in heaven, on “a journey without distance to a goal that has never changed.” (Jesus’ words in A Course in Miracles)
